Six months ago, I met with my team to evaluate our marketing + discuss our future growth goals. I kicked off the discussion by stating: "What got us here, won't get us there." ... Since that meeting, I've invested $50k+ on consultants and spent hundreds of personal hours improving our marketing strategy. Like financial planning, successful marketing is a fluid, ongoing process. It requires regular monitoring, maintenance, changes, and improvement. It also requires time and patience. All of these resources spent without seeing any immediate results reminds me of something Jay Clouse recently said: "In a couple of months, people are going to say, 'You’re killing it,' but it’s going to be due to all the invisible work I’ve been doing for months." Are you motivated to triple down on the invisible work to level up your marketing? If so, I have two opportunities to share with you today: ... 1.) Free Marketing Advice (Last Chance!)ICYMI, Kendra Wright and I launched a new podcast last year, Advisor Marketing Made Simple. It was just named a Top Podcast for Adviors in 2025 by Kitces.com. Our most popular format is our "Advice Line" episodes. In these episodes, we workshop marketing strategies and challenges with real-life advisors LIVE on the show. It’s like a free marketing consultation but recorded so fellow advisors with similar challenges can learn alongside you. It doesn’t matter if you have decades of experience or you’re just getting started as an advisor... ...if you have a BIG marketing question and/or want to workshop a current challenge, we would love to invite you to join us on the show. The deadline to submit is TOMORROW at 11:59pm. 👉 Submit Your Advice Line Application And if you’re wondering whether this is for you, the answer is: yes. You don’t need to be "struggling," and you don’t need to have it all figured out. You don't even need media or podcasting experience. Some of the best conversations come from advisors who simply want to uncover their next steps in an area where they are stumped, pressure-test their strategy, or discover opportunities they didn’t even know existed. We only offer these sessions a few times a year. So if you’ve been considering it or have any interest in joining us, get on it!
... 2.)
